Founded in 1989, Galway Film Centre is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of film, TV, animation and games as an artistic medium in the West of Ireland. To this end, we support creative talent, community and youth groups through mentoring, education, workshops, conferences, equipment provision and information.
We now wish to recruit a Training Executive on a part-time basis.
This role is responsible for the development and delivery of a programme of workshops, seminars, conferences and schemes to address the needs of professionals in Film, TV, Animation and Games.
We require a candidate that is highly motivated, can work effectively within a dynamic team and liase with national and international agencies, funding bodies, partners, facilitators, mentors, and professionals to plan, market, and deliver training and events to meet the needs of creative professionals and companies.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years experience in a similar position or in a relevant position within the audiovisual industry. Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, be a proficient project manager, be astute in dealing with all stakeholders, be a positive team player, with a self-starting can-do attitude.
