Galway 2020 Virtual Production Camp Postponed

GALWAY STORIES_ Through a 2020 Lens

Following the guidance issued by the Government in relation to new measures to contain Covid-19, Galway Film Centre and Galway 2020 in partnership with Screen Talent Europe have taken the decision to postpone the run of our virtual production camp ‘ Northern Peripheries: Galway Stories Through a 2020 Lens’. As a result the camp will not take place between the 6th and the 22nd of April 2020.

While we are all extremely disappointed to have to make this decision, the health and safety of our participants, mentors, staff and the public is our number one priority.

The GFC Virtual Production camp brings together creative talent from across the Screen Talent Europe network for two weeks to produce a short film using the Unreal Engine virtual production process. We are committed to bringing this groundbreaking virtual production camp to fruition at a later stage in the year when it is safe to do so.
