Galway Film Centre in association with Screen Skills Ireland, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland and Gréasán na Meán Skillnet invites you to join us at the launch of the ScreenWest Monthly Meet-ups on Thursday the 25th April 2019 at 6:30pm.
Following on from the success of Managing as a Freelancer, we have taken your views on board and we have decided to rebrand the series to ScreenWest Monthly Meet-ups. The Meet-ups will take place on the last Thursday of every month at 6.30pm in the Galway Film Centre and will focus on a timely topic of discussion within the industry. Each Meet-Up will include a key speaker from within the industry who will lead the discussion on that month’s topic.
April’s Monthly Meet-Up is being held on the 25th April 2019 and will be a Conversation with Dave Moran. David Moran is an independent freelance Script Supervisor with over ten years experience in the industry. He has worked on a number of TV and Film Productions in recent times including Nightflyers, Innocent, Psychic, The Cured, Striking Out, Ripper Street, Out of Innocence, A Date For Mad Mary, Game of Thrones, Line of Duty and The Lobster. Dave will share his experience of working in the industry today and share his wealth of knowledge on managing his own career as a freelancer.
Please join us for coffee, nibbles and a hearty discussion on the 25th April 2019.
The Monthly Meet-Ups are open to all practitioners in the Irish audiovisual industry from crew to service providers and facilitators, funders and broadcasters.
