cultúr is a short experiential documentary capturing youth culture in Galway City through the conversations of the young people that inhabit it and their relationship with time. Directed by Andrew Thomas & Kevin Cawley, recent graduates of the MA in Film Production & Direction from The Huston School of Film & Digital Media at NUIG, the film is a freeform representation of modern Galway showcasing the wants, needs & corresponding actions of a new generation. Recommended Rapper is a short character-focused documentary which takes a look at the life of Danny Rock, a Kinvara-based amateur Rap musician. Directed by Caoimhin Coffey, Recommended Rapper gives us a glimpse into the struggle of a creative mind; the challenges, the set-backs, and the constant search for vindication.
