Galway City of Film is one of 116 Member Cities from over 54 countries that make up the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
Galway Designer Leon Butler’s work ‘Generative Sans Project’ is on display in Östersund as part of an exhibition organised by Shenzhen City of Design. The exhibition includes work of young designers from many of the members of the Creative Cities Network.
Patricia Philbin from Galway 2020 helps Charles Landry with viewing the ‘I AM GALWAY 2020’ VR Film. ‘I AM GALWAY 2020’ is a special VR Film commissioned by Galway City of Film & Galway 2020 and made by Filmmaker Paula Kehoe as part of the successful Galway European Capital of Culture 2020 Bid. Charles Landry is an international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change. He is most well know for writing “The Creative City: A Toolkit for Urban Innovators.”
