ONE MILLION DUBLINERS, a feature documentary from Underground Films, screens at Galway Film Fleadh this Saturday at 4pm in the Town Hall and we’re delighted to have a pair of tickets to give away.
The film, directed by Aoife Kelleher and produced by Rachel Lysaght, looks the many stories of Ireland’s national necropolis, Glasnevin cemetery…stories of ritual, emotion, history, and the business of death.
Tipped by The Irish Independent to be the runaway hit of the Fleadh, the feature film tells the story of the characters that inhabit Ireland’s largest non-denominational graveyard and is presented by the now deceased Shane MacThomais – the Cemetery Historian at Glasnevin who suddenly passed in March of this year.
