Galway Film Centre continues it’s series of production modules this month.
Next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11th and 12th, we are running a 2 day course on Production Accounting. It will look at the role of a production accountant through practical examples.
Day 1 will look at how to budget for a script and prepare it for funding applications. Day 2 will examine the running of the accounts office and how the accountant monitors costs and produces cost reports in order to track the spend. The script from day 1 will be used as a point of reference for day 2 also.
The course is tutored by Evelyn McLoughlin (Jimmy’s Hall, Single-Handed).
