Recent GFC/RTÉ shorts have been doing well on the festival circuit.
Atrophy has featured in competition in Kerry Film Festival, Cork Indie Festival, Liverpool Irish Film Festival, Cork Film Festival and Clones Film Festival. It won a Francie for best short/experimental film in Clones and was also shown on Danish Television as part of the Odense International Film Festival. (Beat the Danes at their own game, we say!). It also featured in the Aesthetica Short Film Festival in November.
Atrophy was written by Matt Roche and directed by Mairtín de Barra.
Scratch played in the Galway Film Fleadh , was one of only 7 shorts in JDIFF, in November is in Cork Film Festival and Foyle Film Festival, and has been selected for the London Short Film Festival in January 2014. It also was part of the San Francisco Irish Film Festival earlier this year.
Scratch was written and directed by Phillip Kelly and produced by Dave Leahy.
Nightline was written by Ger Fitzgerald, directed by Vincent Gallagher and produced by Daniel Dowling and Steven Davenport.
