Lelia Doolan’s remarkable documentary on the life and times of Bernadette McAliskey (nee Devlin) was screened on TG4 at 9.30 on Monday January 30th. Bernadette McAliskey, a socialist republican activist, served as a member of Parliament at Westminster for the Mid Ulster constituency from 1969 to 1974 during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
