Galway Film Centre is delighted to announce that Galway filmmaker Cian Ó Srutháin has been selected to attend the ‘Lofoten Docs 2018 | Documentary Talent Film Camp’.
Cian is originally from Puirín, Indreabhán and attended Cóláiste Chroí Mhuire in An Spidéal. He completed a BA (Hons) in Film & Documentary in GMIT, Cluain Mhuire and has continued on to work in both TG Lurgan in Inverin and Ros na Rún in An Spidéal.
The ‘Lofoten Docs 2018 | Documentary Talent Film Camp’ will take place in Lofoten in northern Norway from 5th to 19th July and is developed and coordinated by the Filmveksthuset Tvibit in Tromsø.
Filmveksthuset Tvibit and Galway Film Centre are both proud members of the Screen Talent Europe; a network of film workshops and media centers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Faroe Islands, Germany, Ireland, Northern Ireland and France. The purpose of the network is to promote and foster co-operation between partners and to help filmmakers exchange knowledge, experiences and methods through talent camps, network meetings and co-productions.
