Michael Cumming, Brasseye Director coming to Galway | Little Cinema

Screen Shot 2017-11-17 at 12.11.12

Little Cinema Galway are very excited to be bringing Michael Cumming, the director of Brasseye to Galway on Tuesday 28th November.

The evnt will include a screening of the Oxide Ghosts documentary along with a Q&A with Michael, when the audience can ask that question about the show that you’ve always wanted to know!

Part documentary, part artwork, Oxide Ghosts is drawn from hundreds of hours of unseen material from Cumming’s personal archive, and is designed solely for live screenings. It features almost entirely of never before seen footage and provides a rare glimpse into the working practices of Chris Morris, the creator of the series. Chortle.co.uk said the film “offers a well-judged and very rare insight into Brass Eye’s making, encapsulating the fun and covert excitement that went on while the project was still under wraps, before all the legal wrangling kicked in”.

Here’s a little reminder of the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lhJ3YJkfcg

Doors are at 8:15 and it kicks off at 8:30sharp.

Tickets are €15 and available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.

Two shows in Dublin have already sold out, so if you’re interested in going we’d advise getting tickets early!
