This two day course suits beginners and self-taught users of After Effects alike. It is an introductory tour of the 2D compositing and text animation features and tools of After
The course will cover compositing using layers, transformation, masking and use and customisation of presets and effects. Additionally a real-world broadcast compositing
exercise will be completed. Attendees will also become comfortable exploring the connections from After Effects to other Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
This is an introductory tour of After Effects covering ingest through to export guided by the only Adobe Certified Instructor for After Effects in all-Ireland.

About the tutor:
Keith Bailey is all-Ireland’s only Apple Certified Master Trainer and Adobe Certified Instructor. He is uniquely placed to inform on current workflow trends and the best way to utilise Apple’s Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Compressor or Adobe’s powerful Creative Cloud applications whether you are a standalone designer, education professional or broadcast editor.
His knowledge of workflows and round-tripping through the various post-production software products brings a holistic approach to training courses delivered by him. He continues to in-source edit and animation jobs for corporate video and broadcast television clients as it allows him the opportunity to apply the best-practice techniques he evangelises in his classes. In 2014, Keith was appointed an Adobe Community Professional for the UK/Ireland charged with sharing his product expertise with the world-wide Adobe community.
