‘The Great Wide Open’ to screen at the Fabriano Film Festival, Italy

The Great Wide Open, the 2014 RTÉ/Galway Film Centre Short Film Commission directed by Ciarán Dooley will screen this week in Fabriano, Italy as part of the Fabriano Film Festival.

The Great Wide Open tells the story of Etain and her grandfather and the summer she spends helping to make them both him & his derelict boat seaworthy again. John Kavanagh and Elena O’Connor star as the central duo with music score by Dublin based composer Stefan French and the film is produced by Mark Holland.

The screening will take place this Friday 27th May as part of the “Small World Film Festival” section with films selected from UNESCO Cities of Film including Bradford, Busan and Galway.
