This one-day Creativity and Ideas workshop will give you the chance to explore a range of different techniques  to help you generate and develop your best ideas.  They are easy techniques that you will be able to use straight away on your own or with others.  Also included is a unique introduction to an efficient process of innovation.

Course content
-How to generate ideas for any genre, platform or channel
-Try out new techniques tested and developed at the BBC
-Find ways to select top ideas and develop new stories or formats
-Techniques to stimulate fresh ideas
-Looking for ideas in unexpected places, thinking beyond the obvious
-Tips for brainstorming and lateral thinking.
-The art and science of random thinking.
-Putting ideas into action: from brainstorm to evaluation.

Participant Profile: This one day programme is aimed at the television and film industry.

About the Tutor: Pam is an experienced media trainer who specializes in creativity and TV researcher courses. She works with Screen Training Ireland, ITV, the Indie Training Fund and leading independent TV companies such as Endemol and Tiger Aspect. Pam is a member of the  CIPD  and qualified in training and development. Her passion for training stems from a real commitment to helping people gain opportunity and inspiration. With a background as a broadcast journalist in both television and radio, working mostly for the BBC, she has researched a wide range of output including documentaries, features and consumer programmes.
